DEFINITION AND FUNCTION OF COOKIES
A cookie is a file downloaded to the user’s computer or mobile device when accessing certain web pages. Cookies facilitate the use and navigation through a web page and allow subsequent accesses, among other functions, to use previously chosen content or design options and obtain information about the user’s browsing habits.
TYPES OF COOKIES:

- Own: are those cookies that are sent to the user’s terminal team from the team or domain managed by the editor itself and from which the service requested by the user is provided.
- Third-party: are those that are sent to the user’s terminal team from a team or domain that the editor does not manage but by another entity that processes the data obtained through cookies.
- Analysis: are those that allow the person responsible for them to monitor and analyze the behavior of users of the websites to which they are linked. This type of cookie quantifies the number of users and visits to a particular site. This statistical data of navigation in the web pages allows for improved composition of the web spaces and the offer of services.
